About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Marketing Manager to take full ownership of our marketing strategy, drive brand awareness, increase app downloads, and engage users. This role will be responsible for managing and optimizing various marketing channels, overseeing content strategy, and ensuring our messaging aligns with business objectives.
The ideal candidate has prior experience leading a team and thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced environment. They will start by managing one marketing team member, with the opportunity to scale the team as the company grows.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute multi-channel marketing strategies to drive brand awareness and app downloads.
- Optimize marketing budget to maximize return on investment (ROI) through data-driven strategies.
- Continuously experiment with various marketing channels, prioritizing those that yield the highest ROI, including partner marketing, digital media, online content/SEO, influencer marketing, on-ground activations and others
- Establish and maintain evergreen marketing channels such as the company website, social media, and app store listing.
- Collaborate with partners (telcos, others fintechs, banks, etc.) and merchants on joint marketing initiatives.
- Work closely with the Product and business teams to develop educational content on Flash’s products, features, and general financial literacy topics.
- Track and analyze KPIs such as app downloads, cost per download, website traffic, social media engagement, and conversion rates.
Requirements
- 7+ years of marketing experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Experience in fintech, payments, or a consumer facing industry is a plus.
- Strong understanding of partner marketing, digital marketing, and brand-building strategies.
- Proven ability to manage marketing budgets and optimize spend for ROI.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product, commercial and business, to align marketing efforts with business growth.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment, where experimentation, adaptability, and a growth-focused mindset are key.
